This private prototype demonstrates personalised 3D-printed jersey magnets. The draft pages are prepared for independent legal review; they have not been approved by UMSU, the AFL, any club or any player.
Current status
- Access remains restricted to the project owner.
- New orders and payments are blocked on the server as well as in the interface.
- The owner can still generate print files for prototype assessment.
- Existing team designs and personalisation examples are retained for an accurate review.
Questions for the adviser
- Can these specific patterns, colours, team labels and player-name combinations be manufactured, advertised and sold?
- Which trade mark, copyright, design, passing-off or affiliation issues arise?
- Which permissions are needed from the AFL, clubs, AFLPA or individual players?
- Is the independence statement sufficient and appropriately placed for its purpose?
- What changes are needed to the proposed terms, returns process and privacy notice?
- Is the KnowYourColours name available for the proposed goods and services?
Items to settle before public sales
IP clearance or redesign; seller and contact details; privacy obligations and provider arrangements; production specifications and magnet safety; payment and shipping processes; final customer terms.
